Hello Members: Pro Bono (as defined by NFPA): "...to assist in providing quality legal services in order to enhance access to justice for persons of limited means." Each member should keep a log of their pro bono time to be submitted in the month of April each year. We submit these logs to NFPA and paralegals who log 24+ hours of pro bono time in a year will receive national and local recognition. We are excited to report that we have a few members receiving national recognition for the 2008-09 year. The OPA Pro Bono Committee wants to insure OPA’s continued involvement with local pro bono efforts. Thank you for continuing to make the OPA Pro Bono Mission a success.
