OPA Annual Budget Meeting
Monday, March 30, 2026
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Meeting will be held via Zoom.
Zoom information will be sent after registering for the budget meeting.
Committee/Specialty Group Chairs and other OPA leaders will meet to discuss and finalize the budget, including the allocation of funds to Committees/Specialty Groups, for the 2026-2027 membership year.
Attention Committee/Specialty Group Chairs:
If you are unable to attend the budget meeting, that is perfectly fine.
Whether you are able to attend or not, Committee/Specialty Group Chairs are highly encouraged to submit a budget request form in advance of the budget meeting:
Budget Request Form
(due by Tuesday, March 24, 2026)
The budget request form is the opportunity for every Committee/Specialty Group to propose a request for funds toward any tentative plans, CLE's, events, initiatives, or other ideas that your Committee/Specialty Group is thinking about doing for the 2026-2027 membership year (May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027). Reach out to your fellow co-chair and/or Committee/Specialty Group members to brainstorm ideas and goals.
When completing a budget request form, please refer to the current approved 2025-2026 annual budget to see the typical budget for your Committee/Specialty Group:
2025-2026 Annual Budget
While requested funds for Committees/Specialty Groups typically do not increase greatly from year to year, consider revenue opportunities that could offset anticipated costs such as revenue from attendance/program fees or vendor sponsorship opportunities.
Please submit completed budget request forms by Tuesday, March 24, 2026 to Yuri Poudayel, OPA Treasurer, as noted in the form.
Submitted budget requests will be discussed during the March 30th budget meeting and will be factored and supported into the overall annual budget as best as possible. The budget meeting offers the opportunity for leadership to offer each other suggestions or find ways to collaborate to achieve Committee/Specialty Group goals.
