Join us on January 29, 2022 for the OPA Leadership Retreat!

Are you interested in learning more about OPA's many specialty groups? Are you interested in volunteering to chair a specialty group? Do you want to network and meet OPA's leadership?

If you answered yes to any of the above, please consider joining OPA for the Annual Leadership Retreat.

 Date: Saturday, January 29, 2022
 Time: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
 Location: Virtual
 Remote Participant Info: The event will be hosted via Zoom. Attendance by video is encouraged. A link for attendance will be provided in your confirmation and reminder emails

Here's what you can expect from this year's leadership retreat:

  1. Team building exercises lead by Dr. Gwendolyn Avington
  2. A refresher on the OPA mission statement and code of ethics;
  3. An introduction to members of OPA leadership;
  4. A round-table discussion about leadership positions, including selection of committee chair positions for 2022;
  5. Goal setting for 2022;
  6. Virtual Brunch!

If you are interested in chairing a committee, please attend the leadership retreat OR submit in writing which position interests you and why you are a good fit. If more than one individual is interested in a particular position, the board will vote which individual will fill the role. Alternatively, there may be more than one chair per committee if so desired. Co-chairs may work together as a team to run their specialty group. If there is a group you would like to create and chair, please bring your ideas to the retreat! You may view a list of the current specialty groups and their chairs at the following link: https://oregonparalegals.org/Committee-Specialty-Groups

Members are encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
